Shelly S. Davis Shelly was hired by the Township in February 2010. She has been the Secretary/Treasurer for Anthony Township since 2008 and lives in Anthony Township along with her husband and 3 children. She worked for the Williamsport-Lycoming Chamber of Commerce for 13 years, as the Director of Tourism. |
SUPERVISORS
The governing body of the township is known as the “Board of Supervisors” and is composed of three (3) members elected by the residents of Piatt Township. Supervisors serve a six (6) year term.
Each supervisors has an equal voice and vote in managing the township and all are your representatives. The supervisors meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM in the municipal building located at 9687 North Route 220 Highway, Jersey Shore, PA.
AUDITORS
The township Auditors are an elected three member board that meet annually to organize by election a chairman and secretary. The board audits, settles and adjusts the accounts of all elected or appointed township officials that receive or disburse funds of or owing to the township during the immediately preceding calendar year. The board also determine the compensation of the supervisors employed by the township. The auditors serve a 6 year term.
ROADMASTER
The Road Master is appointed by the board of supervisors during the organizational meeting held the first Monday in January. The Road Master oversees all maintenance activities associated with fleet repair and road work in the township.
SECRETARY/TREASURER
The Secretary/Treasurer handles all of the daily activities involving office operations for Piatt Township. This position is an appointed position.
